Bioengineering Day

Let’s Talk Science is excited to invite you to our very first Bioengineering Day! Bioengineering Day will be hosted in collaboration with the Biomedical Engineering Student Association at the University of Toronto and held on March 12, 2021 from 1-3pm virtually via Zoom. Topics will cater to grade 11-12 students and will cover cutting edge topics on bioengineering such as COVID-19 vaccine development, stem cells and tissue engineering, biofabrication, CRISPR gene editing, nanotechnology and robotic surgery. The 2 hour event will be filled with interesting talks and a trivia game with prizes to end the day!

Format: Zoom Webinar

Time: Friday March 12 from 1:00PM to 3:00PM

Open to: Grade 11 and 12 students across Canada

Event Agenda:

The event will consist of a series of 10 minute talks. Each talk will be followed by 5 minutes of quiz questions and any participant questions. At the end there will also be a larger trivia quiz.
