Update 29th of March: Let’s Talk Science has made the very difficult decision to cancel all 2020 Let’s Talk Science Challenge events across Canada. We understand how disappointing this will be to youth who were already preparing for the event, and the national office is currently exploring the possibility of offering alternate Let’s Talk Science Challenge related programming to them. Teachers who have already signed up teams will receive communication directly from the national office on this subject and other details.
Update 7th of April: The online version of the Let’s Talk Science Challenge will be a series of weekly, game show style live quizzes and hands-on engineering challenges to do at home starting April 16th. In the next few days, all teachers who had registered teams, and any parents for whom we have contact information will be contacted by the national office directly. However, anyone can participate. For more information about the Let’s Talk Science Challenge Online, please consult https://letstalkscience.ca/
The 2020 Let’s Talk Science Challenge at the University of Toronto (St. George) will take place on Monday, April 20th, 2020 at Hart House!!

The Let’s Talk Science Challenge is a team-based, competitive enrichment event for Grades 6-8 students that takes place each spring at over 20 Let’s Talk Science Outreach locations across Canada.
This free, fun-filled program encourages students to build their team skills, interact with relevant role models and test their abilities against peers. The Challenge includes an exciting question and answer competition, an interactive, hands-on design challenge, guest speakers and more! It inspires students to acquire science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) knowledge beyond their curriculum. We will host our event at Hart House this April.
For more details and to register a team, please visit the Let’s Talk Science Challenge page on the national website.
